I'm the assistant director of a competitive indoor percussion ensemble called Vortex Percussion. This year we decided to have a 6' tall, 24' long ramp on the floor for our 2022 production "Cult of Personality".
Design

| Each member is 1.5" square steel tubing, 3/16", wall thickness. |

| All 4 sections move independently on their own with swivel casters I got from McMaster Carr. Each ramp is decked with plywood and supported with angle iron. |
Construction

Final Result
They're sturdy, roll like a dream, and even go through doorways!
